چکیده
In order to reveal the influence of ammonium salts on rare earth leaching process weathered crust elution-deposited ores, acetate, chloride, and sulfate were used as agents. The effects agent efficiency expansion, dissolution, transformation behavior clay minerals in studied. results showed that followed acetate > chloride sulfate, with values 90.60%, 85.96%, 84.12%, respectively. swelling ratio mineral < sulfate; was 2.09% when agent. Thermogravimetric analysis interlayer water content lowest Under conditions different agents, contents changed from illite halloysite smectite kaolinite. When agent, relative conversion 1.49%, only 0.17%. SEM expanded dissolved obviously Meanwhile, layered structure relatively complete Therefore, it had least effect swelling, minerals. This can provide a theoretical basis for safe production ore, screening green efficient

E ects of Reagent Concentration and Particle Size on Di usion Rate of Mixed Ores with Rare Elements
The leaching reaction kinetics of weathered crust elution-deposited rare earth with mixed ammonium salts was studied. The in uence of concentration of reagents and particle size of ore on leaching rate was investigated. The results showed that the di usion process and leaching rate could be improved by increasing reagents concentration and decreasing leaching owing rate and particle size. The l...
متن کاملLuminescence properties of rare earth-polyoxometalate thin film deposited by sol–gel process
The rare earth (Eu, Dy)-polyoxometalate thin films were fabricated on quartz plate by the sol–gel method. The thin films were demonstrated by the luminescence spectra. The thin films exhibit the characteristic emission bands of the rare-earth ions. It is noticed that the yellow to blue intensity ratio ( Y:B) of Dy and the red to orange ratio (R:O) of Eu in the films are different from that of t...
متن کاملRare Earth Elements Profile
Definitions and characteristics The rare earth elements (REE) (sometimes referred to as the rare earth metals) are a group of 17 chemically similar metallic elements, including the 15 lanthanides, scandium and yttrium. The lanthanides are elements spanning atomic numbers 57 (lanthanum, La) to 71 (lutetium, Lu) (Table 1). The lanthanides all occur in nature, although promethium, the rarest, only...
متن کاملPreparation of rare earth metals
The production of over 400 grams of pure gadolinium metal by reduction of the anhydrous chloride by calcium in tantalum vessels is described; yields were over 97%. The use of the same techniques in an attempt to prepare yttrium metal were partially successful.
